First questions.

I recalled that in my first book, Sentience, I had a list of questions that I have been asking all along until I began answering them with the first realizations regarding Loving Coitus.

This is a modified version of those questions enhanced by other pertinent questions developed during the last fifteen years of study.  This is not about providing answers.  I have already done that.  This is about you exploring the spaces of prehumanity and Humanity yourself.  Maybe that is helpful.

As I reread this sub-chapter, wow, I really do like to go on, don't I?  I've abbreviated the sub-chapter to save you the trouble.  I feel justified enough in having had to go on for fifteen years, but that time is past.  I wish I could go back and summarize those fifteen books and all of the posts in a way that would help.  I don't have the energy.  No one else being willing to take a stand is draining my energy.

These are the questions that haunted the back of my mind until I found the answer.  It's been a very long life.  All of these questions (dots, if you like) connect in only one way: the sentient state contending with the state of coitus.  It answers every one.

The questions that surround

The first and foremost question that has bothered me for as long as I have been aware is why misogyny?  Why would men feel so threatened by women that they felt they needed to force women to become subservient?

    In the same vein, why domestic violence (in every form from physical, verbal, and mental), and the many and varied perversions of sex?  I hope it is clear to anyone that has read all of this that what we term misogyny, in every form, is an offshoot of domestic violence as it spreads out from the home.

 Why are there so few relationships that last and flourish? (except in movies.  Did you ever notice how romance movies all end with the assumption of 'and they lived happily ever after'?  Try the print version of "The Princess Bride" by Morgenstern for a real life view; it is eye-opening)?

Why are young men generally so awkward around women, especially when both are young?  Why do men put on airs around women?

On a similar subject and, maybe the most suspicious question, is the awkwardness concerning the talk between father and son on the subject of sex.  Why would this discussion be awkward?  Why does it amount to nothing, ever?

        Why does toxic masculinity exist?  Why do those that don't adopt a completely toxic attitude become milk toast?

        Why is it that, in a worldwide culture dominated by men, who love sex, the topic of sex is so suppressed?

Why do men want to shower women in gifts, and yet, also, created misogyny?

Why is it that men are particularly vulnerable to perversions and aberrant obsessions?  What could possibly be so close to the self-image of a man as to cause the unreasonable approach to life that is so evident in their daily existence?  Why are men so competitive?  Why would men rather fight than love?

Why are so many men not able to open up?  Why do so many men close up completely after puberty and after engaging with a woman?  What are they hiding from themselves and everyone else?

        Why do so many men go from courting a woman with everything they've got, in their first attempt at a relationship and, then, become an entirely different person?  Why do so many men change radically and continue to change for the worse after they engage in sex for the first time?

        This one may be very difficult for anyone to perceive but, why is it that men desire control over everything?  What causes that mania?

Why does unreason seem to dominate men?  Why is it that these tendencies appear (and/or accelerate) post-pubescence?  Why do they have such horrible emotional control, tending towards rage?  What is really the cause of a mid-life crisis?  Why is it that men don't ever seem to mature while women do?  Why is it that many men use all kinds and forms of alternatives to please their lady other than the most direct form of sexual satisfaction and ecstasy - coitus, sexual intercourse?  If they don't opt out of any attempt to satisfy the woman at all?

Why is it that the little blue pill is such a hit, even at an exorbitant price?  

Why is it that there is such an obsession with pornography, in particular among men?  Why does the sex trade exist?

Why is it that so many young men can be seen to transform from bright-eyed bushy-tailed young men to cynical men with frozen smiles finally becoming completely jaded individuals with no sensitivities left as they age?  Why are old men so willing to send young men to war and death?  What disappointment in life could be so devastating to often cause this transformational damage to their Humanity?  What is behind the clearly nonsensical portrayal of manliness?  What is with all of the pompousness, bombast, false (or conman pose of) authority, and toxicity?  Why is it so prominent in men?

Why would men in very supposedly successful situations become so disillusioned with life and/or so obsessed and myopic regarding their success?  Why do all forms of success  leave a void that can't be filled?  Why do they become obsessive about success once they begin to gain it?  Why does it never satisfy?  Why does it consume them most of the time?  Why do men end up so miserable so often?  Why do men need to defend their masculinity?  What is missing from their  masculinity that they seem to need to justify it in the most awful manner?  What are they not admitting to themselves?

What causes the battle of the genders that has been ongoing since we first gained our sentient awareness?

Why is the most often accepted view that life should be misery in a rather benign universe?  In a brute animal species, this does not seem to be true.  In a species that has completely conquered its environment, how can this possibly make sense?  Why the transference of actual joy to some substitute obsession that is clearly lacking?   What is missing from so many lives?  Why is it that, as our awareness progresses, our misery increases?  What is the void we are not willing to face?

What flaw in the life of humanity could lead to our chaotic, completely insane existence?  What aberrant trait could cause us to look at existence as misery and confirm that misery with utter confidence every step of the way?  Why the belief that to have joy, one must experience misery?  Why is that accepted without question?  What is the cause of so much brutality that borders on sadism as well as masochism?  Why does it seem an insane attempt to lash out at life itself?  What faulty trait leads so far back into the earliest appearance of mankind as a sentient race that it would be accepted as the natural state with not the slightest consideration of change? 

What could be so destructive to the self-image of a sentient race?  What changed between all the other animals of the planet and humanity?  What didn’t? 

Why are men such "takers"?  Why are women such "givers"?  What could lead to the unreasoning violence, on all levels, of the male gender?  

Why is any disruption within the home, worldwide (“What’s the matter here” by 10,000 Maniacs always comes to mind with tears), accepted and considered off limits outside of the family?  How much of that has extended into the policies and politics of nations and the existence of humanity in general?

Why is it that, as a rule, men do not share secrets?  Women are known for sharing their concerns, issues, and secrets with other women.  What impedes men from doing the same?  It’s a natural enough tendency to want share in order to resolve issues.  It is a natural enough seeming trait to want to share in general.  What impedes men's ability to share?  How does this inability to share affect relationships?

What is it that the male gender hides from at all costs?  Why would the male gender try to hide from some particular fact?  What could make men that seem to be doing very well in this world be so dissatisfied with themselves and their lives?  What is missing?

Why is it that men are focused on sex and women focused on love and security?

        Why do men put on false fronts?

        Why are men so often cult leaders?  What weirdness makes them seek such bizarre adoration?

Why is it that so few people want to think?  Why do so many people of both genders want to suppress their ability to think?  

    Why are the aberrations just as apparent in the 'well-educated' as all others as well as all strata of society?  Why is most of humanity's education based on being fed facts and not involved in learning to learn, learning to think, encouraging asking the question 'why'?

What could lead to an attitude of insensitivity towards other members of society, especially by those that have accrued the most success in worldly things?  What leads to the obsession for worldly things?  What causes the grasping/greed?  What causes the sociopathy that is so prevalent in our societies, especially in the upper echelons that have substituted success for joy?

Why is it that, across all strata of society, relationships between men and women fail so regularly and utterly?  Why are the majority of marriages either failures or miserable facades? 

        What is 'keeping up appearances' all about?  What is with 'keeping up with the Joneses'?  (this may be a western predominant trait)

What causes all of the transparently irrational, paranoid rationales that divide humanity?  Why is it that, for instance with terrorists, the cause doesn't really matter?  They are just seeking an excuse to destroy.  Why is there this desire, dominated by men, to find some way in which to viciously lash out at humanity?

Why is it that, once, in the very distant past of our race, as humanity became self-aware, women were often cherished, as is evident with the ancient symbols of fertility, represented by pregnant women, as well as other expressions of cherishing?  Why did it disappear?  What realization caused the crushing blow that relegated women to the state of second-class citizens treated like little more than chattel, at some time in the distant past?

What traits, besides intelligence and sentience distinguishes us from the other animals of the planet?  In what ways have we not changed from the animal?  Why do we continue to most closely resemble a disrupted, deranged brute animal?  Which gender causes this to remain the perception?

Why is it that religions always seem to have been a major force to make women of so little importance that, in many cases, it amounted to little more than persecution giving all rights to the men?  Why is it that prophets are almost always portrayed as sexless men with no women in their lives?  Please note closely the word 'portrayed'.  It has seldom been true.

Why are new discoveries or new concepts always been initially shunned/rejected, especially by the powers that be?  What is it about 'new' that so disturbs?  What stone do we really fear turning over?

Why is sex so very suppressed in society?  Sex should surely be celebrated, so why is it hidden in a dark corner as if we are ashamed of it?  What could possibly be impeding this most fundamental joy and celebration of life and existence?  Why is it not the unimpeded joy and celebration that it should be?

What could possibly have caused all of the bizarre paradigms that permeate society?  Why are they embedded so deeply and are so difficult to dislodge (after three millennia!). (this may only be most apparent to me, since I noted them early and often)   How can it be that some of the paradigms, at the most basic level, permeate society worldwide (think misogyny, as an example)?  What could have been so prevalent in society throughout the most distant ages that it would lead to paradigms suppressing any mention of sex and distortions to humanity's mindset leading to the suppression of women?  

Why do men often seek domination of women?  Why is woman not openly cherished in every way?  Wouldn't this make more sense for a male gender that seeks sex at every turn?  Wouldn't it be easier for a man to engage in sex if he cherished the woman?  Why the combative stance that ripples out from there into every other aspect of the male gender's existence?  Why do women instinctively cringe in fear of a man's reaction if the woman does something wrong?  

Why do men seek domination of women, often mistreating them horribly?  Why do men seek unfathomable amounts of money and power, since it is fairly obvious that it does not really satisfy?  From what are they distracting themselves?  Are they really punishing themselves?

Why do many women, after a few encounters with men, turn to women for sexual satisfaction and love?  Why do many men, after a few encounters with women, turn to men for sexual satisfaction and love? Why are the numbers increasing as time progresses?  Why do so many religions suppress sex and provide bizarre rituals concerning the act?  Why do so many religions frown on anything that might be considered fun/celebration?  Why are many religions proponents of sexual mutilation at birth?  How is it possible that it cannot be seen that the suppression of sex just leads to aberration?

Why are there rituals throughout the world to confirm a man's maturity?

Why is there a tradition of not having sex before marriage (especially for the woman)?  What is this forced inexperience (especially of the woman) meant to conceal?

What happens to so many people when they break up with someone?  Why do both feel like they must have been unworthy or blame the other person wholeheartedly for the failure?  What is never admitted?  What is missing?

If there is one overriding question in all of this, 'what is being hidden from view?', may be it.  That may be a better description of my journey than the question I usually mention, "what is wrong with humanity?"

Final questions in this section, though it doesn't really belong, in that it does not lead to Loving Coitus, as such.

In a very general sense, why does humanity continue to rely on laws and force to ensure good behaviour since it clearly doesn't work?  

    Why don't we have a society that encourages the welfare of all?  It seems the natural progression once a sentient state is attained.  

    This is a much more tricky set of questions.  I shouldn't even have it here, except for it is so important as we wake to our Humanity.  No one, yet, is suggesting a way in which this can work and represents the primary split of the race into two factions.  Can you now name those two factions?  Neither side has a sane answer that actually works.  Sigh.  I'll shut up, except to add that only a sane, rational, sentient race with an educated heart can find its way through.
